Most comprehensive edition of Humboldt’s writings published

For the first time, an international research team collected, indexed, edited and commented Alexander von Humboldt’s complete manuscripts – under the leadership of Oliver Lubrich and Thomas Nehrlich from the University of Bern. The “Bernese Edition” comprises hundreds of essays and articles from all around the world, written over the course of seven decades by this natural scientist and travel writer.
